6. Subscriptions and Payments
BriefScholar offers subscription plans with the following terms:
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
- You may cancel your subscription at any time
- Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy
- We reserve the right to change pricing with notice to subscribers
- Free plan users are subject to usage limits as described on our pricing page
7. AI-Generated Content
BriefScholar uses artificial intelligence to generate study materials. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should verify important information and not rely solely on AI-generated summaries for critical decisions. We are not responsible for any errors in AI-generated content.
8. Intellectual Property
The BriefScholar service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-uploaded materials), is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our service without permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
BriefScholar is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BriefScholar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
